Shen Yun Review: Daniel Herman, Minister of Culture of the Czech Republic

“I’ve been thrilled again by Shen Yun in Brno this year. It’s a beautiful show that presents both the superb art of the profound Chinese culture, as well as the spiritual aspect. And, most importantly of all, it provides hope. I would like to highlight that in these times when the outlook for today’s world is so bleak, there’s a great message of hope in this—hope for people who at this very moment are suffering, for instance, in the Chinese communist prisons for their beliefs. It is our responsibility, as people living in the free world, not to forget about them, and we will be reassuring them through our solidarity and our closeness. I am so very glad that this art form is a way through which thousands of people throughout Europe can learn about the message of Falun Gong—a message of tolerance, compassion, and love. It is truly a touch of heaven. And I believe it is really important for us to have a broader purview and to look to the values that this message and this art come from. Again I say that it brings great hope, a hope that must not die... There is a massive power in this that can embrace the world, and I think it's a positive barrier against evil, violence, lies, falsehood, and that this is the way. ”
